My Salutations to all
pious souls,
I'm going to start today's
program with the true incident which took place with me. During my spiritual
practice, I had to go to many places and to stay at many places. I stayed at
one of those places and there I noticed that a temple's construction was
incomplete. When I asked the reason, why the temple's work was incomplete, I
came to know that a war took place there
between to tribes, and that resulted in the death of both the families of the
tribes, both used to kill the family members of each other. This was happening
since generations. I contacted both the tribes and their heads (leader). I
brought them in meditation slowly. There is one speciality in these tribes. If
tribal leader agrees with something, then the whole tribe would agree the same.
So as the tribal leaders joined the meditation, the whole tribe joined the
meditation. And there was a beautiful scene at the time of doing statue's abhishek.
One leader was standing, holding the statue and another was doing abhishek on
the statue. The big change came to the lives of both the leaders because they
were able to merge themselves with me. I had a similar feelings towards both of
them. They got the same states, same feelings, which I had, and the enmity
between both the tribes was over. I sometimes remembers this incident of tribes,
when the sadhaks hold the grudges towards other sadhaks and leave
the
meditation. So I compared those sadhaks with these tribal people. Even
those
tribal people whose war was going on since generations, their enmity was
over.
And these sadhaks only knew each other since sometime. Now the point is
those
tribal people who had enmity since generations, they forget their
grudges, then
you all sadhaks who know each other only since sometimes can't forget
your
fights? Many a times when I used to organise small programs for the
volunteers,
I used to explain them about negative points and boundaries of Samarpan
Meditation. There are always two sides of coin. For an example say there
is
strong fort. I gave this example to them as well and, telling you as
well. You
all are safe in the strong fort. You don't have any danger about
anything. You
all sadhaks are safe in the fort, living together. I'm standing out with
a big
army to fight with the enemies. I will protect you from the enemies from
outside the fort, and will see that no enemy would attack you in this
fort. So I promise that no one would
attack the fort. But I won't be able to save you if you start fighting
amongst yourselves. That means, you would get the protection
from outside enemies, but If you fight among yourselves, kill yourselves
then
do it and have fun in doing that. I can only see you from outside, I
can't do
anything. Because If I come inside, then outside safety will be in
danger. And
it what happens that, if there are two sadhaks, then both are strong,
both's
weapons are sharp, so they can cut each other's neck very easily. We see
in so
many stories that two people kill each other by attacking each other. So
it's
same in sadhaks. Sadhaks put their negative attention on other sadhaks
and as a
result, all the negativity transfers from one sadhak to another, and
this makes
the state of another sadhaks negative. So when the other sadhak's state
becomes
negative, his enmity would make the first sadhak's state also negative.
They
both kill each other. To come out of meditation means to die, the only
difference is to die whilst you're alive. I'm saying this in big
collectivity,
earlier, I used to say in small groups. This apply to small centres, big
centres, big cities, happening everywhere, in a small or a big way. So
you're
making a loss for yourself and others also. And by doing this so many
sadhaks
have left Samarpan Mediation and they stopped meditation. And if you
become a
medium of someone leaving the meditation, then you have to understand
that he
would also become a medium for leaving your meditation, as what you have
sown ,
you will have to reap. If because of you anyone gets hurt, and leaves
meditation, then you will have to leave meditation because of him. (And
you
would feel guilty and you would feel that because of the grudge, I went far from self realisation, and this life was just
wasted.) So now you don't get this guilty feeling at the time of your life end.
So you try and practice, if you want to make enemies and fight then do it
outside the Samarpan group, but not inside the group. Sadhaks needs to be conscious
about other sadhaks, because both have powerful chitta. So if it is in centre
level, or city level, or country level, if you keep positive collectivity, then
both you and other sadhaks would progress. So today before going, you make a
desire, that you wouldn't hold the grudge towards anyone. We won't become a medium
in any future incident, in which we leave meditation because of someone or
someone leaves meditation because of us.
Because by doing this you will occur the sin of making that sadhaks
staying away from meditation. That's why, remember the three things in this
Chaintanya mahashibir, First, don't
meditate having any wish in your mind. There should be no desire in your mind.
Don't keep anything in mind, leave it empty. Do you know why I am saying that
you don't keep any desire in mind ? It so happens that when you have any
desire, you make your chitta very limited for things you want, you make your
chitta small. But when you make yourself free of desires, then your chitta
would becomes pure, and you get that state of meditation. Unless your chitta is
not pure you will not progress in meditation.
The other thing is mediate regularly, there is no regularity in
meditation. Sometimes you meditate, sometimes you don't, sometimes you do it in
the morning, and sometimes in the evening, this should not happen. Be regular
in meditation. Even if you meditate for
10 minutes, its fine. Regular meditation is necessary. Generally, if you do,
you do it in access and otherwise you don't do it, so it should not happen like
this. It's like, when statue is established from the stone which is 80% pure,
which means, it is pure 80% from all the four sides and from the middle. It's
not like, from one corner is 80% pure and from the other corner is not. Otherwise there won't be any merging. From
your life you take out some definite time, you will have to do that. There
should be no more or less in that. We all do it for everyone, for our children,
for our family, for our society, for our country, for our company (work place),
for our community. We take time out for everyone. You rush everywhere and take
time out for everything. But we don't do it for ourselves. Spend some time for
yourself, with your soul. You will notice that as you start spending your time
with your soul, you will realise that your relation has started establishing
with your soul, nearness with soul will be created. So as and when you start
going near to your soul, you would not do any negative deed. Because, soul
never allows you to do any negative deed. It always gives you good guidance,
show you good path, gives you good thoughts, good motivation. So that's why
biggest GURU is your soul, so make your soul your guru. Make friendship with
your soul and all your decisions and all your paths will start becoming right.
And when you take right decisions then automatically you will become successful
in life. The man who takes right decision, becomes successful. As many right
decisions, you would take, you would become that much successful. Take those
right decisions in the guidance of your soul. You just try to do it, practice
it. It won't happen by itself, you will have to practice it. As and when you
start going nearer to your soul, you would start getting, guidance from your
soul, and you won't do any wrong deed, because you won't have that wrong
energies for doing that wrong deed. You will only do good deeds, always
positive deeds. Just practice to do meditation regularly with your own self.
Other thing is about collectivity. When we go to the centre and try, then we
will be progressing slowly and steadily. It's an upward graph. Sometimes you
will feel that since some days progress is not happening. Some will progress
slowly, some fast in collectivity, everyone would progress. Secondly you would
not realise about your problems and tensions. Like I always give you the example
of a spoon full of black ink which you drop it in glass of water, then the
whole water would become black, but the same spoon of black ink, if you drop it
into river ganga then what would happen? You would not realised where this one
spoon ink went away. In the same way, when you merge yourselves with
collectivity, then all your problems and tensions would get dissolved in
collectivity of millions of people. So make your habit to mediate regularly and
collectively, and as a result you would progress in meditation. Now I've
separated myself from all the management duties. I don't participate in any
arrangements. This would be first deep meditation Anushthan taking place on
13th January 2013 after getting released from all these arrangements. Deep
meditation Anushthan would be from 13 January to 27th February. This would be
the first deep meditation Anushthan, where I won't have any responsibilities of
any management duties. So in social language, I would say that, after getting
released from all the arrangement responsibilities, I am going to take a breath
of peace. This year was announced as Doctor's year, but the Doctor's woke up very late so according to their wish
2014 will also be celebrated as Doctor's year. Next Guru Purnima would take
place in Vankaner, Morbi which is not Rajkot now, it's changed to Morbi. This
is a new change. Now there is a new district called Morbi and Vakaner is in
Morbi, so now we would say Morbi and not Rajkot. It was in Rajkot before, now
it is in Morbi. So Guru Purnima will take place on 12th, 13th and 14th July in
Morbi Ashram. Next program of Deep meditation Anushthan will take place from
13th January '13 in Dandi and would continue uptill 27th February and
Mahashivratri celebration will take place in Dandi itself on 27th February. So
I have a wish that these three things, which are, first, try to make your chitta without any
expectation. Try to do it yourselves, you will find a good difference. And I am
telling you based on my own experience. First you purify your chitta. It what
happens that we tie our selves by our expectations and our desires. Just free
it. It will start becoming pure as you start empting it. It what happens, that
when our chitta is in problem, then we would mediate on those problems, and our
half attention would be on meditation and half in problems. But when we divert
our chitta from problems, automatically, our attention will go into meditation,
you yourself would become strong. Pray
to God, that give me lots of problem, but at the same time, give me the
strength that I could face and tackle my problems. Problems are not big. If you
make yourselves big, then problems would become small automatically. But what
you do is, you make your problems so big, like, o problem, o problem and make
yourselves small and as a result the small problem also disturbs you. So now
change this. Don't give importance to problems. You will only grow your
problems depending on how much you give fertilizer to your problems. Like I
would say that your chitta is a fertilizer, if you put in on rose plant, rose
plant will grow, If you put it on thorns plant, then thorns plant would grow.
So it's in your hands, what you want to grow. So from today onwards don't
desire for anything. Do you get what you
want after desiring for that thing? No, you don't. You will only get it
according to your state. If you would have got whatever you desired, then the
beggar sitting on the street would become a king when he desired, but does this
happens? No, it does not. No one becomes king because of his thinking or
desiring to become. He becomes king because of his state. Ramu, the beggar
became king because of his state. Ramu, the beggar never desired to become a
king. So in the same way, even you become Ramu, the beggar, and don't desire to
become a king. Just develop that state and become a king. So first thing is
meditation without any expectations, you need to do in this Deep Meditation
Anushthan. Don't expect anything. Just try to do it for 45 days. Just act to do
it, and see what the result comes. If you do the act, then also is fine. There
should be no expectations or desires in your mind in these 45 days. Other thing
is Meditation should be on regular basis. The importance of these 45 days is,
the one who don't meditate regularly, also joins these 45 days. These 45 days
are important for the whole organisation. Like in Navratri, the people who eat
non-veg and who drinks would also leave these things for 9 days saying Navratri
is going on. So they won't have these things and remain pure these days. Just
only for 9 days they do this act. Similarly we have some naughty sadhaks, they
would think that by meditating on these 45 days, they bathed in river ganga
(became pure), dissolved sins. By sitting inside, I come to know everything. It
happens that at that time, it's such big collectivity, even those not meditating also starts
meditating. Each and every day of these 45 days is important. In these 45 days
those sadhaks also start meditating regularly who don't do it for whole
year. That's why there is a big collectivity in these 45 days.
We don't know about our collectivity. It is spread in so many houses in so many
countries, but we are not aware of it. Our numbers are much more than what we
think. We become aware in these 45 days. The people who don't meditate
regularly also joins these 45 days. So make a schedule for 45 days - First, don't
desire for anything, don't expect anything. Second, meditate regularly. By
meditating regularly, you would join with all the sadhaks during these 45 days
and would be benefited from this collectivity. And third, meditate in
collectivity. You can join anywhere- either in centre, or in Ashram for 45 days
and mediate regularly. Make small groups. If there are few sadhaks at least
make a group of five, you can do that. Even if it is a small group, but
meditate in collectivity, there is different benefit of it. You will be
benefited from this Deep Meditation Anushthan, when you follow these rules.
Just for experimentation purpose, do it for 45 days and see the result. You
would see the positive result. What you would get, would be out of your
imagination, and also don't expect that something would happen. Leave
everything behind and meditate for 45 days. I wish that these 45 days should
bring a golden change in your life.
